A Big Push Sometimes Needs Some Extra Juice
I don’t know about you but in the middle of a big push I might tend toward sagging. This morning I woke up after two long days up ’til 2 A.M. and felt…well…some resistance to working.
But…my task list was long for the day and I had to get going. Then BAM! someone in my circles had posted Ike and Tina Turner’s Proud Mary.
I’ve totally loved Tina Turner since the first release.
I remember my job when I started graduate school. I worked for an ophthalmologist eye surgeon who was just starting his practice. I got the office set up. Then we spent some time eating turkey sandwiches…the real kind with hunks of turkey carved from the bird, not the new-fangled compressed turkey meat thinly sliced into “deli” thickness…or ribs…and listening to music waiting for patients to make an appointment. Proud Mary was out and got a lot of air time. OK, I didn’t dance in the office but the music was there.
So…I watched this video this morning. Started dancing. Felt better and…got to work.
I love working from home!
Don’t Fret About Starting Slow
If you are thinking about starting an online business or are just starting, don’t worry about those starting slow because…just like the music it will build to a big crescendo.
Just keep being consistent with your work.
