A Signal of Trust
Trust is a weird thing. It takes a lot of work to build up and it's so easy to lose. Google's Authorship has been one of those remarkable achievements where a relatively small change in technology manages to gradually build up a significant impact. What is evident here (or at least became evident as I was writing this intro) is how Authorship really works on human psychology.
Mark Traphagen has been instrumental from day one on testing, exploring and writing about Google Authorship. In many ways he has become synonymous with the subject. In posting this link below I had the option to assign a number of photographs associated with the article, to illustrate it.
Yet the only one that made sense was Mark's thumbnail. That in itself says a lot about the power of personal branding. Mark, in the article, goes into some depth. Read this one. Learn from it. (And from Mark).
