There's been some healthy debate over the past year regarding whether or not the authority of an author influences visibility in Google Search.

Read about one test I performed with Google Authorship and social media expert +Mark Traphagen. In the experiment, I seek to understand if adding Authorship from an authoritative author will increase visibility for the page and for Mark's name in Google Search.
