Our latest file picker has improved features to make navigating your files simpler. Check out the horizontal navigation, easier multi-selection of Drive items, list view with owner and date header sorting and grid view which surfaces your folders first. The file picker can be seen when you insert from Drive in Gmail as well as when you open files or insert images into Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.
