  1. I was laughing when this one came up as I knew that I had posted two of Jimi's live versions recently. Luckily I found a third!

  2. Thanks guys!  After a conversation, I realized I'd never seen Jimi Hendrix do anything but the Star Spangled Banner.  Feeling more educated. :)

No "All Along the Watchtower", "Purple Haze", "Burning Of the Midnight Lamp", "The Stars That Play with Laughing Sam's Dice", "Foxey Lady", "Up From The Skies", "Crosstown Traffic", "Gypsy Eyes","Stone Free", "Machine Gun", "Voodoo Chile", "If 6 Was 9", "Let Me Light Your Fire"?
Try putting in my hashtag - #dapimusic , then a space then #jimihendrix into the search bar - that should give you all of those and a few more besides. :-)

  4. Dave Pipe Let me know if you find "Little Red Rooster." I had it on tape long ago and I've lost the tape.

  5. Zara Altair I do not like this new notification system at all - it's just blitzed my stream and punched this in it's place instead of opening up in a drop down box! And this is in Zoogle Crumb! (Guess who is going to screenshot this & do a rant post!)
I'm Sure that I have seen a version on YT, I'll have a look when I get back on Firefox - safe to go to YouTube without crashing!

  6. Dave Pipe I'm getting used to it. Click the top circle with bell inside...NOT the bell. Bad things happen when you click the bell. :(

  7. Dave Pipe heard most of them but never have I seen him play.  Amazing, that. I hated the notification too.  Glad it's gone.

I'll never forget when Dave Getz of Big Brother held out his humungous stereo earphones and said, Here, listen to this.
Jimi Hendrix, All Along The Watchtower.

  9. Knew the song, knew most of the words but I'd never seen his facial expressions as he performed.  Thanks Zara Altair!  What a way to end my night.  Wow!
