Who Do You Write For?
Of course the obvious answer to that is: “My reader.”
But who is that and are you sure?
Over that past year, the Lunch Bunch has chowed down on a lot of topics that pertain to content marketing. One in particular has popped up repeatedly.
Are we writing to get respect from our peers or because we need to keep our name present on the social stream?
Are we polluting that stream with more oxygen robbing social media algae or contributing fresh content?
If you’re a content curator, how do you decide what content to share?
As a content creator - well, we’re back to the original question, “Who are you writing for?”
This topics was inspired by a casual conversation with the Lunch Bunch last week and a quote from Danny Brown
“Write about the things you want to read as opposed to what you think others want to read.”
Please join us and share your thoughts and questions.
Our Technical Director and Comment wrangler, Vivek likes nothing better than replacing my face with your comments on screen.
In the last 5 minutes, we'll be serving our Lunch Bunch Take-Out, tips and links to some of our favourite resources.
