When I do my 'readings' of poems in live performances within the virtual worlds ( like, but not limited to Second Life ) I do it in text communication, as it is the only way to assure all can 'hear' it.
The text used is very basic, having no formatting at all. Not like G+ where you can BoldUnderline or Line Out So, no centering or justifying either. I resort to ALL CAPS for emphasis, and that's it. If I want a 'blank line' I must at lest have one character on it or it will be skipped. So for that I used a single period. Fortunately, most of the time I can use a spell check. - Or ignore it!
It is still fun though, and many seem to enjoy it very much. The truth is It flows better that way for me, as I am not a good orator, and my pacing can be quite good.
G+ has good, and not so good with poetry...
ReplyDeleteOshi Shikigami When the poem forms a shape, not so good.

Super poem formating! Thanks John Kellden. :-)
ReplyDeleteJohn Kellden Produced as PDF only and limited in "shape." Poets experiment with the line shape of the poem, often outside of basic "shape*.
