Actors are part of a collaboration of many that create a film. 

The phrase "Live long and prosper" was created by science fiction novelist and short story writer Theodore Sturgeon (best known for his novel More Than Human)

The hand gesture of the V was created by Nimoy in interpreting his rôle.

Has appeared in episodes of three different series with George Takei and Nichelle Nichols: Star Trek (1966), Star Trek: The Animated Series (1973) and Futurama (1999).

  1. Zara Altair Thanks for sharing some of the works he was involved in and facts surrounding them. Since the original series was before my informative years, I was introduced to Star Trek reruns and his role as Spock in my early teens. Often we'd practice the long live and prosper gesture and speculate how a Vulcan would survive in our culture. Thanks for helping me remember and learn more about his history.
