Join me tonight, as I sit down with Katherine Fischer from Harbor House of Central Florida to discuss the power of social media in driving social change.
Katherine Fischer is in charge of online promotion for Harbor House of Central Florida, an organization dedicated to tackling the problem of domestic violence in our culture. As an organization, Harbor House has been successful in drawing together major forces throughout Orlando in making a stand against domestic vioence, including legislators, district commissioners, law enforcement, and even corporations such as Bank of America and Sea World. Harbor House has been instrumental in driving change within law enforcement as well, and the Orlando Police now lead the nation in the battle against domestic violence.
