Add links to websites in Google Calendar
You can enter a number of useful fields into Calendar events, even add attachments, but you can't add links to web sites... or can you? Turns out that you actually can and it's rather simple - add a URL of one or more sites into the Description field of the event. When pulling up the event on a mobile device - you'll see that it's clickable and will launch the site when clicked on. This is a useful way to add additional info, especially for public calendars.
Unfortunately the link (which could be as simple as pcs-works.com, no need for http:// or www prefix) only works on mobile devices and will simply show up as non-clickable text on a desktop. Even so, someone can easily copy and paste the URL from the Description into another browser tab on a desktop, so it's still a valuable addition to any Calendar event.
