Did You Know That Authorship Photos Still Exist for Google+ Posts?

Last August I wrote about the fact that even though Google had removed Authorship photos from regular search results, they were still showing them for relevant Google+ posts from people you have circled on Google+ when they search logged in. (see the post at http://stonet.co/PlusPersonalSearch).

I checked today and this still works. 

Bonus: Brands Play Too! Even cooler if you are a business with a Google+ Page is the fact that this works for you too!

If someone who follows your brand here does a search while logged in to their Google+ account, and your page has a post that is relevant to their search, chances are good that the post will show up in their search results. 

And even better:

☛ The post is elevated in ranking. That is, it shows up on page one for the searcher, whereas in a logged out search, it may not rank highly at all.

☛ The post shows you brand logo in the same spot as the personal profile photo in the screen cap shown below.
