First Steps in Content Marketing

Content marketing is a much discussed topic, but for many, figuring out where to start is truly the hard part. In my latest post on Search Engine Land, I lay out the way to get oriented, and get started. 

A big part of this is understanding the initial priorities:

1. Reputation
2. Visibility
3. Audience Building
4. Approachability

With this type of focus, and then just a little bit of tuning to bring the right SEO focus into play, you can be well on your way. In the post, I also outline the first initial areas to start engaging as well.
