  1. Everything we need to know, now and well into our thriving, vibrant, ecosystemic future, for our children and grandchildren - in less than five minutes.

  2. That was like, blow me away cool to watch. (the CC was really good on it.)
If we ever thought that we are not interdependent in our surroundings, this should certainly tell you something.

  3. Wolves get so much bad press that this was just such a pleasure to see. Since the reintroduction, there has been some transitioning in public opinion and endangered status from the Federal Gov. and the states of Montana, Wyoming and Idaho.  It's an interesting history all around and a good example of how the public needs to look beyond their immediate needs.  Here's a timeline of events

Living in there foundation we must know our homes that sit on there land are there any more structures for wolves among others to not fear stepping grounds, there's a saying, they were here first among other animal's, appreciation to them more then i appreciate a building going up destroying there land, wolves are among that stand there grounds and should be alllowed to walk not in fear , black bear or any beautiful animal, why should a precious land be out of balance, causes of money, causes of bureaucratic battles?, great article, good reading and will always have the wolf be among one of my totems

  6. joe breskin Yes, it was "over-simplified". Distilled versions leave out detail. On the other hand, they bring to light concepts for those who are not scholars.

  7. Zara Altair that is exactly the point I was trying to make in another post. It may not hit all the points, but it shows you something and it makes you aware of an issue and lets you search for more information on the subject.
However you say it much better than I do. : )

  9. The #confluence   and the potential for #consonance   in this thread is nothing short of magical.

  10. I remain concerned that a partial truth - or the reduction of complex set of problem to fit an explanation that ultimately, under closer examination fails to explain - however appealing or resonant with what we want to believe it might be, does not constitute an explanation of anything except our own desire to believe in easy answers.

  11. joe breskin  it remains an important concern.

It's one of the essential why's of digital discourse, to figure out what would be, if not optimal, so at least better uses of (digital) networks.

If I keep to my own niche, my own focus:

"We made it? What happened? We happened!"

This rests on my ability to extend trust to others, the conviction that all others are doing their thing as well - and have this trust reciprocated.

The possibility of eventually connecting with 7bn and soon 9bn human beings - is to me immensely interesting and inspiring.

  12. Totally agree John Kellden Zara Altair if we transport the metaphor we immediately see the need for #inclusivity . It shows us in an almost perfect story that if we take out important elements (i.e those based on personal opinion) it may affect the whole ecosystem quite negatively.

Absolutely John Kellden  #consonance  is the perfect description for what actually happened here.
