  1. The real issue with using a phone for login is how often folks use free wi-fi, including sources that are not clearly defined or secured. The risk of man-in-the-middle attack is extremely high.

  3. If your phone is stolen, what protections are you left with? Granted they should have a password, but since some are easily defeated this would give the thief access to your account(s).
