Bless you, Zara Altair - thanks for your constant support this year. Gaining your friendship has been the highlight of G+ this year, for me.
ReplyDeleteHave a truly wonderful Christmas - you deserve one for your constant hard work and, well, for being such a genuinely nice person. #BeAwesome :)
Jason Darrell Thank you for the very kind words. Right back at you with the genuinely nice person. Hope you are enjoying the Christmas season.
ReplyDeleteYou inspired my year. When I did some truly dreadful projects on Freelancer, you were my inspiration to just keep going. :)
Wishing you health and happiness in the coming year.
Blessings!
Much, much more to come, Zara Altair.
ReplyDeleteJanuary's gonna be tough - at least two procedures booked:
1. epidural to inject steroids, anti-inflammatory and pain-killer into my lower lumbar;
2. injection into my hip to reduce post-operative inflammation to release the nerves down my left leg.
Three days after those, I have a bucket full of MRI scans booked to decide whether I need a facet fusion to completely seal the gap in my back into which the pesky nerves keep slipping and getting trapped, thus inducing the lack of flexibility and/or mobility.
If these procedures have the desired affect - and I see no reason why they shouldn't - I've got a lot planned for Spring.
Consulting is the way forward. The reason being the authority Google's looking for is latent within many businesses.
The days of generic freelance writers may be numbered. It will be more important than ever for writers to specialise in certain topics in order to make understanding a client's business both quicker to expedite and easier to highlight their services.
A writer's role will be more about eking out a client's authority and expressing it in terms both reader- and search engine-friendly.
It's a big change in thinking. I just hope I get well enough soon enough to spread the word.
Thanks again, Beaut - happy new year if I don't get back here until the new year. :)
