Markdown

Markdown
This guide from Zapier  flew by me earlier in the middle of a writing project. Fortunately Jason Darrell captured it in a post.
Great introduction to Markdown.

Mark up your content - or Markdown?
Faster coding for writers on a mission

Ever since I discovered #Markdown , I've downloaded apps and extensions to make it work. My current baby is tryscribble: http://www.tryscribble.com/wikis - it's so freakin' awesome!

You can build wikis, preview your finished HTML as you type and segregate your work into pages.

This guide by Matthew Guay on Zapier gives you all you need to know about Markdown.

  1. Bless you, Zara Altair - I so luv Mardown. If only Microsoft (or GDrive) came with an onboard program to open .md files. #WishfulThinking

  3. Nice spot, Zara Altair

Have you noticed the hashtags I've been using this week?

Rather than spam the post with tags (keywords) that Google can already extract from your content (if the writer's done their job properly), I'm going for post sentiment.

I don't know why I'm doing this, but it just feels right. #GutFeeling  ☺
