... a Silver Maple traps aprox 25,000 pounds of CO2 in a 55 year period at $5.95 per 1,000 pounds ~ each tree would be offset by $148.75. in 2016 USD.

ReplyDeleteAnd this activity from someone who drove miles and spent hours at Strybing Arboretum https://goo.gl/CvMRyd cultivating native seedlings, nurturing them, and then planting in among the trees. I see now it is a "botanical garden" as well as an arboretum.
I'm not ready to start a tree nursery, yet. Perhaps next year. :)
