Abstract: although "semantics" as buzzword in computing science has been around since 50's ... question: could "closed society" have the same semantic weight as "secret society" ?
ReplyDeleteThink it is perfectly fitting. From that title I get this:
ReplyDeleteIt is about a religious sect
It is a small group of people
Personally I think it is a good title. a pocket is a common colloquialism for a small group.
God's Pocket tells the viewer all about it personally.
Of course, that is if I have desifhered it correctly.
Andre Amorim Not in my frame.
ReplyDeletePatrick Ryall God's Pocket is the name of the town. And the book on which the film is based. In this story (in the film) not a religious community. More like the society in The Crow. I'll post reference when I get to my computer.
ReplyDeletePatrick Ryall Ah, I always remember incorrectly the title of the film. The Raven http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0035753/?ref_=rvi_tt
ReplyDeleteThen their title is too darn obscure Zara Altair Oh well, you win some you lose some - Raserfras :)
ReplyDeletePatrick Ryall Yep. Good flick, though.
ReplyDeleteI will have a search of the old idiot box thingy and see if it is there. Zara Altair
