ReplyDeleteThe EU in its current form has been the sick man of Europe. I am afraid I am going to vote to leave the EU. I am deeply saddened to be doing so - but...
ReplyDeleteFor me the major problem with EU is its bureaucratic and undemocratic nature.
The problem is the bureaucrats are not listening to anybody.
The rate of unemployment levels within the EU countries has been very high - that is NOT a sign of an economy doing well.
The way the Greeks have been treated is deeply undemocratic. They had two general elections and the elected Governments could not reach a 'deal' with EU so the governments had to be changed again. What sort of democracy is that?
