Labels As I Would Do Them
If I ever go around to taking the time to label everything.

I agree with (H/T) Mark Traphagen's challenge. If you don't LOL at the latest from Geraldine DeRuiter, I will come over there and eat your pets. 

When my daughter was little (18 mos - 2+) I had a girlfriend whose sons were older and younger than my daughter. She labeled many, many things in the house to help the older boy when he started reading.

My kids just started reading one day, without labels.

I never got around to labeling things when I was learning a new language. I mean, I could do it now and each item would have four: French, Spanish, Latin, Greek. I don't think the labels would help much.

Do not touch the paper piles on my desk! I know what they are. I don't need a label.
