Editing Tool Add-On for Google Docs-Writing Reviser
Editing Tool Add-On for Google Docs-Writing Reviser
Via Jason Darrell
I tried this revision tool on a sample first draft. Very helpful to tweak a variety of first draft edits.
Use G Docs for your content drafts?
This 'Writing Reviser' Add-on developed by +SAS Curriculum Pathways is pretty darned comprehensive.
Readability, clarity, wordiness, it addresses many weaknesses.
Developed for students (yeah, and their teachers), many business owners I've worked for would love to have had this to revise their existing content (whether they know it, or not).
Great writing aid - and FREE
Beneath is an overview of how it works.
To add Writing Reviser to your own G Drive:
► Open a Google Doc;
► Find Add-ons on the top navigation bar (beneath the title) and click it;
► From the subsequent dropdown menu, scroll down to Get Add-ons and click that;
► In the resultant pop-up window, enter 'SAS Writing Reviser' in the search bar (top right of pop-up window) and press enter;
► and finally, click the blue box that says free and, after granting the permissions to access your Google details, you'll have the Writing Reviser installed and always available from the top navigation row.
