New Notifications Center
This week we rolled out a new notifications center on the Google+ Web experience. Within it you can mark all notifications as read, quickly scan by notification type (comments, +1s, reshares), and filter all your notifications by All, Unread, and Other Updates. These filters are also available today on the Google+ iOS app.

This new Notifications Center our first version, with lots of updates to come. As such, please send us any ideas/issues using the Send Feedback menu item to ensure we see them.

Thanks~

  1. Thanks Zara Altair. Hopefully this will help managing notifications a tad better.

  2. What do you think about it, Zara Altair? I am loving it so far...

  3. Ana Hoffman The more filters the better. Endless scrolling is not my favorite activity. :)

  4. Nice try Zara Altair however as usual I can see little of what the arrows are showing and/or sharing or whatever it is. At least I have learned after 2 years that I bought a new Dell with Windows 10 included. First time I found that out.

  6. I wish they dropped Mentions into the same pull-down menu... would've been very handy here.

  7. Oleg Moskalensky Mentions anywhere would be wonderful. I like your idea.

  8. I Vote for That Oleg Moskalensky and Zara Altair ...
Better than wasting my Vote on Hillary or Don !!!

  9. Thank you, Coach G Moore, I think Zara Altair & I would put everyone in their place (which is why we're unelectable, unfortunately). Apparently it takes people who cheat & lie to get to the top office these days... Besides, if I was to jump into this, I'd have to give up my position in Amerlandia, something David Amerland would likely frown upon, since nobody wants that place devolving into what we have here now... would they? ;) And if I tried both - some would call it a conflict of interest, people would start digging into KGB files, Assange would drop Hillary's emails and waste time on mine (since I got nothing to hide)... anyway, not a workable solution. Let's just go with what we have, not what we want.

As for Hill & Don... as my favorite President used to say "well, that's a whole other conversation"... and he'd be right :)

  10. Coach G Moore No, no. I am not a politician. And like Oleg Moskalensky I would not give up my position in Amerlandia as Minister of Delectables.
Someone once told me I should run for mayor in our local town! I said they had it all wrong. I like people. I hate interminable meetings. Plus, unfortunately politics seems to require a brilliant lying talent which I do not have. :)

  11. Oleg Moskalensky and Zara Altair you're firmly bound in your duties to Amerlandia, there is no escape spare capacity for you to get involved in any moonlighting, I am afraid.

  14. Hey Zara Altair...yes it has been a long time...got a bit burned out on the whole online marketing thing...but...alas...I now have my own roofing company (back to my roots) so I need to start thinking about this world again to get my own site (okay still don't have one yet...hehe) ranking

  18. Gary Whalen To find, just enter their name at the top of your G+ page. Then you can place them in circles. Set the notification for the circle to "on". Their posts will appear in your notifications stream.

  19. Zara Altair You are among my circled people yet hundreds of others rarely reply. Thanks anyway, perhaps I did NOT make myself clear - as usual.
