Ethics In A Digital Age

Ethics In A Digital Age

Iblis Bane on the ethics of ethics.

Originally shared by Iblis Bane

Prompted by many recent discussions, I put...uh...fingers to keyboard I guess...to reflect briefly (OK, not briefly) on the nature of ethics in an increasingly digital world.

  1. Thanks for sharing Zara Altair. Wider applications than at first we may suspect perhaps... ;)

  4. Our Future Societies: To Our Impact Journeys

Had we but world enough and time,
This diginess, people, were no crime.
We would sit down, and think which way
To walk, and pass our long love’s day.
Thou by the Indian Ganges’ side
Shouldst thriving villagers find; I by the tide
Of Bicycles would complain. I would
Love you ten years before the flood,
And you should, if you please, refuse
Until our conversion of our news.
    My vegetable love should grow
    Vaster than media and more slow;
And now, like evolutionary boids of life,
Rather walk paths beyond all strife
Than languish in old storied power.
Let us roll all our journeys and all
Our sweetness up into one ball,
And wear our pleasures, lessened strife
Through the impactful journeys we call life:
Thus, though we cannot make our garden haste
Yet we will as gardeners, now cease our waste.
