Ah .. and RAKE is the perfect name Zara Altair ';D)
Peter Hatherley Isn't it, thought. I have to RAKE through the ground cover to pull out the leaves. :)
Peter Hatherley Haha! Typo! thought=though Definitely a Sisyphean task this time of year. New leaf layer already there. :)
Around here, today's tool would be either umbrella or bucket.
Ours is an umbrella. Hallalujah!!!
Jodi Kaplan Umbrella optional It was raining while I was raking. :)
It was raining so hard at one point I could barely see the tree right outside my window. That tree is six or seven stories tall. There was a thunderclap that was so loud I thought the earth had broken in half.
Jodi Kaplan Wow! Storm. We just had Oregon rain which does not prevent most people from regular activities.
Actually, I don't use an umbrella, just a rain jacket, Zara Altair. ;)
Gina Fiedel You'd fit right in in Oregon. :)
Zara Altair, shhhh, don't let Doug hear you. He's always had a fondness for Portland. ;)
Gina Fiedel Mum's the word. :)
