Smile Success
Create create transparency, accountability and responsibility in a workplace the fosters smiling.
From David Amerland
_Here’s what it takes to smile at work:
A sense that what you do matters
A culture that makes work feel like fun
Trust in those around you and above you
The belief that you’re part of a team working together
The knowledge that others depend on you and you cannot let them down_
As a solopreneur, the friends I have on Google+ keep me smiling a lot. That goes for my clients as well. Business with smiles creates strong engagement and trust.

Zara Altair it's weird right? I was just going through notifications and I smiled opening this one! :)
ReplyDeleteHah :) You don't know Germany. A person who smiles at his or her workplace doesn't suffer enough pain, and following the German hidden agenda of working ethics, work has to be painful, otherwise it is no work. (A person who seems to be not working at his workplace will be fired.) So, to train the traits of fear and pain on their faces, German workers have strange hobbies, such as running up steep hills, raising ostriches, playing online casino or learn terrible languages (Mandarin Chinese) :)
ReplyDeleteDavid Amerland Smiles are catching. :)
ReplyDeleteAntje Blüm Did you read the article? It is a call for change in the business environment where smiling is not encouraged as part of the culture.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed if you speak Mandarin. :)
