Stan, I love the way you write a recipe. It's like standing in the kitchen with you.

  1. Zara Altair love the aroma. And can remember, didn't know anyone else ate them (long ago) potatochipsandwiches. OMG what I could eat in my early 20's LOLOL
Thanks for the walk down a forgotten memory lane. #ForbiddenFoodz

  2. Why thanks Zara Altair . My wifey stands in the kitchen with me all the time. She likes getting the excess of the spoons, blenders, etc. She also encourages me tobe clean up afterwards..:-)
Recipes are more fun when you make them your own. The basic recipe here is great, but when you add your own special twist to it... even better. I've tried it now with bourbon, rum, and chocolate. I'm going to try caramels, toffee and other sweet stuff this winter as well. The only one I tried that didn't work well was cream cheese. I don't know what I was thinking. BUT... I put cheddar cheese on the top of one when it was still hot one time and it was a treat to the cheese lover that was visiting. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
