Yes, Les Paul use to hangout with these guys and tried to get them to record their music. After Willie Nelson started recording they all seemed to have followed. There were a lot of shows where RY Cooder would get so drunk and belligerent that they wouldn't let him back on stage. He fell off of a few of them lmao
