What To Do When Your Website Copy is Plagiarized

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
But it's no fun when a competitor changes their website to look like yours and copies the content.

This happened to a client of mine and he's fighting back.

Don't let copycats steal your idea. Know how to confront and neutralize.

  2. MicheleElys MER I'd read about this sort of thing happening but it feels very strange and kinda like intellectual rape when the whole thing is copied.

  3. MicheleElys MER I had another client who implemented this strategy. I wrote tons of educational material about website and copy, wrote unique customer targeted content for his new website. actationnow.com - SEO for a New Website
After it was done, his sister-in-law, "in marketing," told him he needed more content (content is king thinking) so he copied and pasted content, including images from other sites, "created" testimonials, etc. I was so glad my name was not attached to that project.

  4. Zara Altair WOW, can't imagine copying someone' else work or words/content. It's personal!! It's their life experience.

A little funny note on this. I am a Superhost on AirBnB, a lady up the street copied my description for her place LOL She had her own fotos LOLOL I thought it was hilarious she could not write her own welcoming to her place. hehehehe it tickled me,

However, this stealing a website content. WOW
