The more you risk, the more you win
The more you risk, the more you win
Risk is a four letter word, but a good one.
Taking risk in life presents more opportunities to win, just as in hand-to-hand fighting.

If you don't take a chance, luck will never have the opportunity to work for you.
ReplyDeleteTalking of opportunities Ron Serina My favorite new sync is "looking for opportunities" whenever a problem manifests. It's really useful and has worked wonders for me
ReplyDeleteI just ask the question, "Where's the opportunity in this?" and this perspective things instantly switches the problem into an opportunity for problem solving
Best of all my wife Julie Hatherley came up with it Ron Serina aren't our wives wonderful!
Peter Hatherley They most certainly are Peter
ReplyDeleteSometimes Zara Altair it does not seem to be a risk, simply an action to be taken, a course we follow to further our lives! Cheers
ReplyDeleteNot sure I would call it a risk. "Risk" is subjective. Any action is a risk in uncharted territory. But in known waters you have gained confidence through experience and sometimes you can drive thing to the edge - but that doesn't mean that you're taking a risk. It just means that you have confidence enough to push yourself to limits, where some other people has not yet been.
ReplyDeletePeter Von Eberstein Extremely well stated! The underlying confidence lends risks a step after step with a deeper knowing/knowledge. Simply a knowing.
ReplyDeleteAhhh I see you Peter and your answer resembles who you are.
Thank you for embellishing
MicheleElys MER See me? Nah I don't think so. There is another level to sniping, which is self-honesty and self-awareness. If you are not honest to yourself, you will perform badly. The awareness comes in as a prevention to begin thinking in non-constructive ways.
ReplyDeletePeter Von Eberstein your speaking to the teacher ;D
ReplyDeleteI gave you a compliment!!!!
Yes I'm sorry. I forgot to thank you for the compliment. My bad... I'm a little busy making evacuation plans here...
ReplyDeletePeter Von Eberstein Great point that risk is subjective. What can be an action, as MicheleElys MER suggests, may be a risk for someone else.
ReplyDeletePeter Von Eberstein I do hope all goes well, obviously your response showed stress.
