Google Ends "Voice Search"
If you've read the title of this post and are beginning to freak out, don't. Google Voice Search started the entire semantic search approach by beginning to understand natural language queries but it has, since, been overtaken by Google Assistant who also understands actions as well as words and can better divine context and intent.
By retiring Voice Search (which will remain active in all those instances where Google Assistant has not been enabled) Google is simply streamlining the process of products working to gather data and deliver results.
