Stuffed Brioche French Toast
Stuffed Brioche French Toast
Start with brioche baked in a loaf, not the traditional brioche form. Cut very thick slices. Open up a pocket. Fill pocket with sherry-soaked golden raisins and ricotto-cream cheese mix. Soak in egg, milk, and cinnamon. Fry in butter.
Wait! You can experiment. Stuff with Calvados soaked apples or your own concoction. Bake in oven for a fluffier texture.
Top with syrup, lemon juice and confectioners sugar. Garnish with fruit of your choice.
With egg and butter rich brioche as a base, how can you go wrong?
David Amerland encourages experimentation, learning from failures, and paths to success in this week's Sunday Read: Boundaries http://bit.ly/2HHqQLb. Experimenting with brioche, fillings, and cooking methods is a safe way to experiment. :)
