Giant Vanilla Donut Cake

Giant Vanilla Donut Cake

Why settle for regular when you can go big? This giant donut is baked, frosted, and decorated for you and your friends to indulge in donut goodness.

You'll need a savarin tin https://amzn.to/2IfQhAp to create the rounded shape. Then just bake as you would any cake.

Create the giant "sprinkles" with fondant icing (crash course: https://youtu.be/uEwt8Q5jaA4) colored with food coloring. Roll into small sausage shape (approximately 1/2 inch wide) and cut segments.

If you've never made fondant before, get your coffee and read David Amerland's Sunday Read: Connections http://bit.ly/2IcFATA to learn how increasing skills develops neuroplasticity because learning how to learn develops our mind and our body.

That said, reward yourself with another piece of giant donot. :)
