Attention. Attention is Dwindling. When the one thing that makes the attention economy what it is, is actually dwindling you know that you’re in a challenging field of work where everything is against you. Whether you’re working in marketing, education, politics, or entertainment; the trend is the same: a gradual decline in the available time your audience has to give you. But that is both right and wrong or, as usually happens when we apply simplicity to the complexity of marketing, we are using the wrong metrics to measure what really matters here.
