Haiku Deck is awesome, but I had no idea how far I could take it. Love the example of using an image as an idea for a post.
Thanks for the information Martin W. Smith

Why Haiku Deck Is Most Important Internet Marketing Tool You AREN'T Using
"Why are you using Haiku Deck instead of SlideShare," someone asked me the other day. Almost 60,000 views with an average of 3,200 views per created content (per slide deck) and over 700 shares is one reason why.

This Curagami post shares the WHY USE Haiku Deck numbers. And the numbers are only half the reason Haiku Deck should be in every #internetmarketers quiver. We love the tool for its ability to help us SEE.

If you don't know or haven't used Haiku Deck the idea is a beautifully simple one - put a friendly #userinterface on top of the #creativecommons . The Creative Commons is a great place to find images to support your #onlinemarketing since chances of getting sued go DOWN.

Haiku Deck realized the Creative Commons interface is a disaster. They didn't leave it there though. They added intelligent tagging. Their tagging is SO smart we use their image recommendations about half the time.

Yes, that's right. Haiku Deck sees content (on slides you are creating), picks keywords and finds related images. MAGICAL. About half the time we have images we want to use and the tool makes it easy to upload.

We've gotten so we use Haiku Deck in ways we bet their developers never imagined. We have "private" decks (you can restrict access) where we've "brainstormed" ideas working backwards from their visual recommendations.

We type keywords into Haiku Deck and SEE what comes back and THEN we write content. Yep, you heard me right. We use Haiku Deck as a content STARTER. Seems crazy right?

One of the most common complaints we hear from #smbs is how difficult it is to create content. We also hear about how hard it is to find arresting images to support #contentmarketing , so we kill 2 birds with a single stone when we see the image and create the content.

We don't use this tactic more than 5% of the time since being "stuck" for content isn't our team's problems (typically), but do you know another tool that could help you work backwards from the image?

Google image search COULD and we've used it that way too, but Google's images have 90% JUNK and 2% gold. Haiku Deck's junk to gold ratio is more like 50% GOLD and interesting to 50% filler. Haiku Deck provides FEWER suggestions than a Google image search, but they are BETTER (thus saving time).

I won't repeat the entire Curagami post, but if you aren't using Haiku Deck you should be. Learn why on Curagami:
