Kristin Drysdale asked an excellent question in this comment thread (http://bit.ly/1w8R8d1). Kristin's question had to do with finding people who are attempting to engage a topic, but who aren't seeing any engagement of their own yet.
These people represent an opportunity for you to build a new audience of folks who share your interests.
The image below, shows the NOD3x Relations Graph for the topic of Food and Drink. Those areas indicated by the red arrows, represent posts relevant to food and drink that no one is yet engaging.
The green arrows, show you posts that are receiving the most engagement and represent an opportunity for you to become known within your niche topic.
