Confused by Instant Marketing Solutions that Don't Work?

Far too many 'strategies' online are really just copies of what others have done, regardless of the fact those others in question often have a different business, market, and resources.

The result is that far too many small businesses are given advice that (for one example) is copied from a professional blogger who only needs to write, and is impractical for anyone who doesn't have all day every day to spend on the next article.  For another example, we see businesses that only have a couple of products who provide too little information about each because they are copying the style of larger stores who have a catalogue of thousands of changing products and thus have quite minimal, standardised display.

For those who are good at making connections on social media, but short on time, it is often the case that they'll get more results from having a simpler, more persuasive website and using social media instead of a blog for all the temporal, "what's happening' stuff.  The website can as easily link to your social media stream as to a blog on your own site, and it frees you from a ton of maintenance issues.
