What a find by Chris Jenkins. Turns out that the alleged "split" of Google+ into three products ( Stream/Hangouts/Photos) has been a reality for at least two years.
As Yonatan Zunger explained to us, this is the internal designations within Google, NOT a plan to "split up"Google+.
